Abstract:
There is provided a blank structure of bearing ring member that realizes uniform
surface properties on a cut object surface after forging of stainless steel so
as to enable high-precision cut machining. Blank (10) to be machined into bearing
outer ring (2) and inner race (3) is formed by forging of stainless steel material.
The blank comprises cylindrical parts (11,12) whose inner circumferential
surfaces (11a,12a) and outer circumferential surfaces (11b,12b) overall consist
of surface eutectic carbide segmentalized layer, and comprises clamp part (13)
disposed on one-end portions sides of the cylindrical parts (11,12).
