Abstract:
A blast control device for a blast furnace, comprising: a video capturing device for obtaining an image of a charge charged into a blast furnace; at least one sensor for measuring an inside furnace state of the blast furnace; a data collection unit for obtaining grain size data of the charge from the image; a blast amount predicting unit for obtaining a predicted blast amount of the blast furnace from the grain size data; and a blast amount control unit for controlling the amount of a hot blast blown into the blast furnace according to the predicted blast amount.
