Abstract:
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the structural design of blast furnace heaters. The inventive device comprises a casing (1) provided with a lining (2), a nozzle (3), a dome (5) with a pre-chamber (6) arranged in the top part thereof and coaxially therewith. Said pre-chamber comprises a hood (7) and a lining (8) which is provided with a support (9) rested against the hood (7). A hot blow fitting (4) is disposed above the nozzle (3) at a distance equal to or higher than 1 diameter of the flow section thereof. Gas channels (11) and air channels (12, 13) are embodied on the side vertical wall (10) of the lining of the pre-chamber and connected to an internal gas collecting channel (14), air collecting channel (15), gas supply fitting (16) and air supply fitting (17). The axes of top channels (13) are directed away from the lower collecting channel (15) towards the axis of the pre-chamber and offset in an upward direction with respect to a horizontal plane at an angle up to 30°, the axes of the other channels (12, 13) being arranged on the horizontal plane at an angle ranging from 15 to 30° with respect to the radii which pass the centres of the output orifices thereof. The side vertical wall (10) of the pre-chamber are divided into two parts (20, 21) by a vertical cutting joint (19), the internal part (20) being used as the support of the main lining of the dome (22) of the pre-chamber (6). A baffle (23) separating the gas and air collecting channels is held by the walls of masonry adjacent to the collecting channels on the side of a hood (24) and the side vertical wall (21). The invention makes it possible to reduce the period between repairs and the cost thereof.
