Abstract:
Provided are blast furnace wall-cooling staves which have liners on the furnace interior side and with which it is possible to extend the service life of the liners by preventing temperature increase in the liners. The blast furnace wall-cooling staves are provided with: a stave body 1, in which a water channel for passing cooling water therethrough is provided and which is made from copper or copper alloy; multiple horizontal grooves 13 provided horizontally on the surface of the stave body on the furnace interior side, the horizontal grooves defining recesses, protrusions being defined between the horizontal grooves; multiple vertical grooves 4, which are provided vertically to the protrusions between the horizontal grooves; and multiple liners 2, which are provided by being fitted into the horizontal grooves of the stave body and the tips of which protrude into the furnace. The staves are configured so that vertical gaps 5 between the multiple liners are at different positions in the horizontal direction from the vertical grooves 4.
