Abstract:
Provided is a blind spot assistance device which allows an improvement in the brightness of a visually recognized image. This blind spot assistance device 200 reflects an image of a blind spot blocked by obstacles, and is equipped with a pair of parallel plane mirrors 110 on which light L representing the image is incident. The pair of plane mirrors 110 are configured by a semi-transmissive plane mirror 111 and a plane mirror 112 being arranged to face each other. The semi-transmissive plane mirror 111 is provided on the viewer side so as to reflect part of the light L and allow part of the light L to pass therethrough. The plane mirror 112 causes the light L to reflect to the semi-transmissive plane mirror 111. The semi-transmissive plane mirror 111 is provided with a reflection region 113 that reflects all of the light L incident on a portion of the semi-transmissive plane mirror 111.
