Abstract:
Provided is a blister packaging machine with which pocket parts having good gas barrier properties can be more reliably formed over a longer period. A PTP packaging machine (11) comprises: a pocket part formation device (16) for forming, in a strip-shaped container film (3), pocket parts (2) each having a bottom section and a side section; an illumination device (50) that radiates prescribed electromagnetic waves onto at least the pocket parts (2) downstream of the pocket part formation device (16); a camera (51) that is capable of acquiring transmission image data based on the electromagnetic waves transmitted through at least the pocket parts (2); and a side section condition detection unit (52) that detects, on the basis of the transmission image data acquired by the camera (51), the condition of the thickness of the side section. The pocket part formation device (16) is configured to be capable of adjusting the balance between the thickness of the bottom section and the thickness of the side section, and this operation is controlled on the basis of the detection results from the side section condition detection unit (52).
