Abstract:
The present invention is a block copolymer composition containing an aromatic vinyl-isoprene-aromatic vinyl triblock copolymer (a) and an aromatic vinyl-isoprene diblock copolymer (B), wherein a ratio (MwDa/MwDb) of the weight-average molecular weight MwDa of a polyisoprene block of the triblock copolymer (A) and the weight-average molecular weight MwDb of a polyisoprene block of the diblock copolymer (B) is 0.5 to less than 1, the proportion of aromatic vinyl monomer units accounting for the overall polymer components included is 10 to 30 mass%, the breaking strength is less than 8 MPa, and the elongation at break is less than 1,100%. The present invention is also an adhesive composition containing such block copolymer composition and a tackifier resin, and an adhesive sheet having an adhesive layer composed of such adhesive composition. According to the present invention, provided are: an adhesive composition that has superior initial adhesive strength at low temperatures and superior holding force at high temperatures and has both superior adhesive performance and superior die cutting performance when used in an adhesive label; and a block copolymer composition for obtaining the adhesive composition.
