Abstract:
Provided is a block copolymer which contains an end group, a block that is bonded to the end group, and a block that is not bonded to the end group, and which is configured such that: the block that is not bonded to the end group contains at least one constituent unit that is selected from the group consisting of a non-crosslinkable constituent unit represented by formula (X) and a non-crosslinkable constituent unit represented by formula (Z); at least one moiety that is selected from the group consisting of the end group and the block that is bonded to the end group contains a crosslinkable group; and if XI is the total number of the non-crosslinkable constituent units represented by formula (X) and ZI is the total number of the non-crosslinkable constituent units represented by formula (Z) in the block that is not bonded to the end group, and XII is the total number of the non-crosslinkable constituent units represented by formula (X) and ZII is the total number of the non-crosslinkable constituent units represented by formula (Z) in the block that is bonded to the end group, XI, ZI, XII and ZII satisfy at least one of formula (i) XI > XII, formula (ii) ZI > ZII, and formula (iii) (XI + ZI) > (XII + ZII).
