Abstract:
Provided is a block for fabricating a denture base that is ideal for use when fabricating denture bases by cutting. The block for denture base fabrication is made by polymerizing (meth)acrylate monomers and is characterized in that when a 4 mm thick sample is measured using JIS Z8729, color tone is in the range of L* = 40-55, a* = 14-31 and b* = 5-20. Blocks for denture base fabrication that are cylinders of 8-15 cm diameter and 1.5-5 cm height or elliptic cylinders with major and minor diameters of 8-15 cm and 1.5-5 cm heights are preferable.
