Disclosed in the present application are a blockchain-based data processing method and apparatus. The specific implementation solution is: in response to the receipt of a contract deployment request sent by a request node in a blockchain network, obtaining a contract file corresponding to the contract deployment request, wherein the contract file is generated by means of content extension on the basis of a smart contract corresponding to the contract deployment request, and the smart contract is a service code that can be automatically executed in a blockchain; verifying the contract file on the basis of a parsing result of the contract file and a blockchain ledger, wherein the verification is used for characterizing verifying a key of the contract file, content of the contract file and signatures of contract participants, and the blockchain ledger is generated by pre-executing a transaction deployed by the contract; and in response to successful verification of the contract file, determining, according to the contract file, a smart contract corresponding to the contract deployment request. The solution realizes dynamic loading of a smart contract file by using the file format of an extended smart contract file.
