Abstract:
Provided is a blockchain system that can reduce the occurrence of isolated blocks and inequity between miners, which arise from the block transmission delay which accompanies an increase in block data size, and consequently can increase the number of transactions that a blockchain can process per unit time. Also provided is a computer program that achieves said blockchain system. Each block is divided into an A section and a B section, and transaction information is stored in the B section. After a miner has received the A section of a given block and before reception of the B section is complete, transaction data including the next block after the received block is determined from the information that is stored in the A section, and mining of the next block after the received block is initiated. Additionally, in case the reception of the B section is not completed, the miner retains a plurality of blockchains, and in accordance with a condition, switches which blockchain to mine.
