Abstract:
The present invention provides a blocking mechanism of a privacy protection shutter for a camera provided at the outer edge portion of a display unit of an electronic appliance, the privacy protection shutter including: a pivot shaft part that serves as the center of pivoting; a blocking part that covers a lens of the camera in order to prohibit image capturing by means of the camera; and an operation unit for causing the privacy protection shutter to pivot. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a blocking mechanism of a privacy protection shutter for a camera in an electronic appliance having the camera built therein such that, with a small installation space, it is possible to readily and reliably set the camera to a blocking state, and it is possible for the user to recognize the blocked state with certainty.
