Abstract:
A blocking member (22, 24), which is installed on the tip of a nozzle (20b) of a mud gun (20) for discharging a mud material to plug the tap hole (14) of a blast furnace (10) and that acts as a heat-resistant member for blocking molten pig iron that spurts out from the tap hole (14) of the blast furnace (10) is ceramic sprayed on a surface of which is to be treated with a mixture of a zirconia-based material and an alumina-based material.
