Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a blood analysis method having high reproducibility of measurement values in blood samples of 50 µL or less, and a blood testing kit for use in the blood analysis method. Through the present invention, there is provided a blood analysis method including a step for diluting a collected blood sample using a diluent, a step for determining a dilution ratio using a standard value of a standard component constantly present in blood, and a step for analyzing the concentration of a subject component in the blood sample, the blood analysis method wherein the volume of the blood sample is 50 µL or less, the dilution ratio of a plasma component in the blood sample is 14 or greater, and the diluent does not contain the standard component constantly present in the blood.
