Abstract:
The blood flow measurement device according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention contains scanning optics, a front image acquisition unit, a region of interest setting unit, a scan control unit, and a blood flow information acquisition unit. The scanning optics apply an optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan to the fundus of an eye under examination. The front image acquisition unit acquires a front image of the fundus. On the basis of a preset condition, the region of interest setting unit analyzes the front image and sets a region of interest intersecting a blood vessel. The scan control unit controls the scanning optics in such a manner as to apply repetitive OCT scans to the region of interest. On the basis of the data collected by the repetitive OCT scans, the bloodflow information acquisition unit acquires blood flow information.
