Abstract:
Provided are a blood glucose measurement device, a blood glucose calculation method, and a blood glucose calculation program with which blood glucose levels can be accurately measured using light. The blood glucose measurement device includes: a light source 1 that outputs measurement light L1 that is caused to enter a living body 50; a light detector 12 that detects the measurement light L1 propagating within the living body 50 and generates a detection signal according to the intensity of the measurement light L1; and a computing unit that computes the time lag between the time variation of a first parameter relating to oxygenated hemoglobin concentration and the time variation of a second parameter relating to deoxygenated hemoglobin concentration on the basis of the detection signal, and computes data relating to the blood glucose level on the basis of the time lag.
