Abstract:
A blood storage tank (1) is provided with a chamber (10), a suctioned-blood inlet port (P2) for causing suctioned blood suctioned from the operating field of a patient to flow into the chamber (11), a suctioned-blood filtration unit (40) for filtering the suctioned blood flowing in, and a guide unit (30) for guiding the filtered blood toward the vicinity of the bottom of the chamber (11). The suctioned-blood filtration unit (40) includes a first frame (41) and a first filter (43) for covering the frame. The guide unit (30) includes a base member (31), and a cover member (34) that covers the base member (31) and is capable of transferring blood by allowing blood to penetrate. The lower end (43a) of the first filter (43) is in contact with the cover member (34), and the cover member (34) is configured from a knitted fabric made by knitting fibers.
