Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a blood storage tank capable of suppressing the generation of vortex flow in blood that has flowed out from an inner tube. [Solution] This blood storage tank 1 has: a housing 10 having an inner space 10a; a filtering part 30 which is provided with a filter body 31 for filtering blood and stored in the inner space of the housing; and an inner tube 60 which is arranged on the inner circumferential side of the filtering part 30. The inner tube has: an inner cavity 60a for guiding blood; and a vortex flow suppression part 65 that is disposed near the inner cavity (60a) and suppresses the generation of vortex flow in the blood flowing in the filtering space. The contour of an inner surface 31a of the filter body and the contour of an outer surface 62a of the inner tube 60 have approximately similar shapes in a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the filtering part, and the vortex suppression part is formed by the tube wall of the inner tube.
