Abstract:

This blow-molded container (1) is manufactured by biaxial stretch blow-molding in which an injection-molded preform that has the shape of a bottomed cylinder is mounted onto a die for blow-molding, after which a pressurized liquid is fed into the preform and molded into the shape of the cavity of the die. The blow-molded container (1) is characterized by being provided with the following: a cylindrical opening (2); a hollow body section (3) that is continuous with the opening (2); and a bottom section (4) that closes off the bottom end opening of the body section (3), the body section (3) having a flattened shape in a cross-section perpendicular to a central axis (C1) of the body section (3).
