Abstract:
In performing blow molding of a synthetic resin container using a blow molding device provided with an elevatable bottom mold 3, driving of an extending rod 4 is so controlled that the downwardly-moving extending rod 4 stops at a position free from interference with the bottom mold 3 placed at a second blow molding position when reaching a bottom dead center while extending a preform P and driving of a pressing rod 5 is so controlled that the pressing rod 5 protruding from the bottom mold 3 downwardly moves and returns into the bottom mold 3 while supporting the extending preform P separated from the stopped extending rod 4, thereby avoiding the interference between the bottom mold 3 and the extending rod 4 while preventing the extending direction of the preform P from being deviated from an axial direction.
