Abstract:
Provided is a locking blow-molding mold. Locking mechanisms (14) are provided on the back surface of a split die (1b). The locking mechanisms (14) are configured from: an air cylinder unit (15), the axial direction of which is orthogonal to the back-and-forth movement of an insert (7); and a guide block (17) through which the rod (16) of the air cylinder unit (15) passes. The air cylinder units (15) and guide blocks (17) are disposed on both sides of a plate (12). Particularly because there are locking mechanisms (14) on the air cylinder units (15), pressure during molding does not act thereon and therefore it is not necessary to use hydraulic cylinder units.
