Abstract:
Provided is a blower device mounted in a cleaner, the blower device being provided with: an impeller capable of rotating about a vertically extending rotating shaft; a motor for rotationally driving the impeller; a motor housing for accommodating the motor; a cylinder member disposed radially outside the motor housing; and an impeller case for accommodating the impeller. A gap is formed between the outer side surface of the motor housing and the inner side surface of the cylinder member. One of the outer side surface of the motor housing and the inner side surface of the cylinder member has formed thereon a plurality of stator blades protruding toward the other side surface. The plurality of stator blades are arranged circumferentially radially outside the motor housing to constitute a plurality of air flow paths. At least one of the plurality of stator blades has a protrusion. The protrusion protrudes from a radially facing surface of the stator blade and in contact with the other side surface.
