Abstract:
A blower is provided with a fan (10) that has a plurality of blades (12), said blower rotating to produce a current of air. The blades have front edge portions (123), and serrations (40) situated in at least portions of the front edge portions. The serrations have a plurality of distal end portions (41) and a plurality of recessed portions (42) arranged in alternating fashion. The plurality of blades have negative pressure surfaces (121), and one or more ribs (51) that protrude from the negative pressure surfaces (121). The ribs extend towards the rear portions (124) of the plurality of blades, the recessed portions serving as origin sites (51a).
