Abstract:
This blower comprises: an impeller having a columnar boss rotatably driven by a motor and a plurality of vanes extending in a radial formation from the boss; a cylindrical air-guiding portion provided so as to cover the outer peripheral ends of the plurality of vanes, the air flowing from one end to the other of the air-guiding portion; and an annular bell mouth which is provided from a side that is downstream of one end of the air-guiding portion and upstream of the impeller to a side that is upstream of one end of the air-guiding portion, and in which a first suction flow path is formed on the inner side and a second suction flow path is formed on the outer side, between the outer side and the inner surface of the air-guiding portion. The bell mouth has, in a section between an upstream endpoint positioned at an inlet of the first suction flow path and a downstream endpoint positioned at an outlet of the first suction flow path in the bell mouth, a minimum radius point where the radial distance from the rotation axis of the boss is smaller than the radial distance at the downstream end point.
