Abstract:
The blowing device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises: a motor that has a shaft that is arranged along a center axis that extends up and down; an impeller that is fixed to the shaft and that is arranged above the motor; an impeller cover that surrounds an upper side and the radial-direction outside of the impeller and that has an intake port in the center thereof; and a motor cover that is arranged on the radial-direction outside of the motor. The motor has: a rotor part that is fixed to the shaft and that has a magnet; a stator part that faces the magnet; and a bearing part that rotatably supports the shaft on the stator part. The motor cover has a motor cover cylinder part that is shaped like a cylinder that opens downward. An inner surface of the motor cover cylinder part faces the motor in the radial direction with a gap therebetween. The motor cover cylinder part has a communication part that allows the space inside the motor cover cylinder part to communicate with the space outside the motor cover cylinder part.
