Abstract:

This blowing device is provided with a propeller fan (1) which rotates about an axis of rotation (O), and a bell mouth (2) provided in an annular shape in such a way as to surround the propeller fan (1) as seen in the direction of the axis of rotation of the propeller fan (1). The bell mouth (2) includes a flared portion (22) located downstream of the propeller fan (1) in the direction of the axis of rotation. The flared portion (22) has an inner peripheral surface located on the inner peripheral side in the radial direction of the propeller fan (1). The inner peripheral surface is inclined relative to the axis of rotation (O) in such a way that the internal diameter increases toward the downstream side. The flared portion (22) has at least one first part (22A) and at least one second part (22B) which are provided in different locations in the direction of rotation of the propeller fan (1). The first part (22A) includes a first inner peripheral surface region, which is part of the inner peripheral surface. The second part (22B) includes a second inner peripheral surface region, which is part of the inner peripheral surface. A first angle between the first inner peripheral surface region of the first part (22A) and the axis of rotation (O) in a cross section passing through the axis of rotation (O) and a portion of the first part (22A) is larger than a second angle between the second inner peripheral surface region of the second part (22B) and the axis of rotation (O) in a cross section passing through the axis of rotation (O) and a portion of the second part (22B). A first length, in the direction of the axis of rotation, of the first part inner peripheral surface region, is greater than a second length, in the direction of the axis of rotation, of the second part inner peripheral surface region.
