Abstract:
A blowing device (1) comprises: an axial-flow fan (10) that generates an air flow which passes through a heat exchanger (2); and a fan shroud (20) in which the axial-flow fan is accommodated, and through which the air flow generated by the axial-flow fan passes. The fan shroud is configured to include: an air inlet (22) which has a shape corresponding to the outer peripheral shape of the heat exchanger, and into which the air flow that passes through the heat exchanger is introduced; and an air outlet (24) through which the air flow introduced from the air inlet is led out. The fan shroud is also configured to include a passage formation part (26) that forms an air passage which leads the air introduced from the air inlet to the air outlet. In the passage formation part, at least one rib (28, 28A, 28B) is erected so as to protrude toward the heat exchanger. The rib is provided in the range of a narrow section (20b, 20c, 20d) in which the air inlet and an outer peripheral-side portion of the axial-flow fan approach each other in the radial direction of the axial-flow fan.
