Abstract:

Provided is a blue pigment composition that, when used as a colorant of a paint, has superior transparency, and has a shaded hue that is greenish.　The present invention was arrived at through the discovery that when a blue pigment composition including a chloro-copper phthalocyanine with a specific average number of chlorine substitutions and including a specific copper phthalocyanine pigment derivative is used as a colorant for paint, a coated plate is obtained that has not only a greenish hue but also a greenish shaded hue, and demonstrates satisfactory dispersion and high transparency.
