Abstract:
The on-board communication system according to an embodiment comprises an antenna installed in a vehicle to communicate with a user terminal device present in a communication area around the vehicle, a processing unit that executes an authentication process when the authentication execution condition that the radio field intensity of a signal communicated with the user terminal device via the antenna is greater than or equal to a threshold is satisfied, and an acquisition unit that acquires information indicating the state of the user terminal device with respect to the vehicle. The processing unit executes the authentication process regardless of whether the authentication execution condition is satisfied or not when it is determined that a change condition is satisfied on the basis of the information acquired by the acquisition unit.
