Abstract:
With the present invention it is possible to realize a fixing state of a housing to a circuit board for differing orientations of the housing, while reducing manufacturing cost. A board connector (10) comprises a plate-shaped fixing member (40) having a pair of projecting parts (71, 72) that project in mutually different directions from a housing fixing part (41), only one of the pair of projecting parts (71, 72) being selectively fixed to the circuit board (80), the housing (20) being fixed to the circuit board (80) so that the projection direction of a hood (22) follows the planar surface of the circuit board (80) when one projecting part (71) is fixed to the circuit board (80), and the housing (20) being fixed to the circuit board (80) so that the projection direction of the hood (22) is perpendicular to the planar surface of the circuit board (80) when the other projecting part (72) is fixed to the circuit board (80).
