Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide an on-board device, a train, and a signaling safety system that enhance safety during train-to-train coupling. The on-board device (101) transmits and receives, to and from the on-board device (101) of another train, a telegraphic message (201) including occupied area information of a train traveling on the tracks, and is characterized in that, when the trains are to be coupled, other train entry permission information permitting the entry of the other train into an occupied area of one train is noted in the telegraphic message (201). Further, the other train entry permission information is noted in the telegraphic message (201) on the condition that the one train is stopped, and control is performed such that the one train is continuously braked until the other train entry permission information is deleted.
