Abstract:
An on-board information system having a mobile information terminal and an on-board device, and wherein the information terminal comprises: a storage unit that stores an application; a control unit that executions an application that has been started; an executed application determination unit that determines, at prescribed intervals, the application that has been executed by the control unit; a comparison unit that compares the application that has been started and the executed application; and a restrictions information transmission unit that sends to the on-board device restriction information in accordance with the content of operation restrictions during vehicle travel in relation to the executed application, on the basis of the comparison results from the comparison unit.
