Abstract:
The invention relates to an on-board motor vehicle electrical system (100) which has an electrical machine (EM) which can be operated as a motor and as a generator, a first energy store (B1) and a second energy store (B2) and in which means (S1, S2, S3, S4) are provided which are designed for setting all of the switching states a) to c) indicated below as alternatives to one another: a) either only the first energy store (B1) or only the second energy store (B2) is connected to the electrical machine (EM); b) the first energy store (B1) and the second energy store (B2) are connected in parallel to the electrical machine (EM); c) the first energy store (B1) and the second energy store (B2) are connected in series to the electrical machine (EM); wherein a balancing circuit (30) is further provided which, when the first energy store (B1) and the second energy store (B2) are connected to the electrical machine (EM) in series in switching state c), is designed to store electrical energy in a first switching state and to output the stored energy to the second energy store (B2) in a second switching state.
