Abstract:
A boarding and alighting port device for a belt type moving sidewalk designed to carry passengers by a circulation belt driven for circulation by a driving device, the port device comprising a comb at a position opposed to the end of the circulation belt, the end of the comb opposed to the circulation belt being formed with a plurality of notches, a roller turnably disposed below the comb to substantially close the clearance between the end of the circulation belt and the comb, with part of the roller projecting upward through the notches in the comb.
