Abstract:
The invention relates to a bob, which can be used as sports equipment for travelling for example on snow or water. Said bob comprises an inflatable, double-walled shell consisting of an inflatable inner skin (core) and an outer skin stretched over the latter. The bob is characterised in that a moulded base part (4), the outer skin (1) and the inflatable inner skin (2) consist of separate parts or parts that are easy to separate, whereby the moulded base part (4) and/or the outer skin (1) can be removed and replaced. According to the invention, the moulded base part (4) that is provided with couplings (21, 22) is subdivided into arcuate diametrically opposed casing segments (5) and is configured with runners (8) for use on snow and with chambers (9) that curve inwards for use on water courses. The pneumatic chamber system (10) consisting of a tube (11) and a support cushion (12) can be filled with tyre air (13). The shell (3) is manufactured in such a way that it comprises a bucket seat with a backrest (14) and a moulded projection (15) situated between the legs of the person using the bob. The bob is designed in such a way that said projection is equipped with handles (16, 17), a winding mechanism (19) for the drag line (20) and optional lever-operated traction brakes (18).
