Abstract:
A bobbin thread replacement device of a sewing machine enabling the simplification of the operating mechanism thereof by performing, by one mechanism, an operation for pressing the front face of a bobbin case against a shuttle while raising the lock claw of the bobbin case to mount the bobbin case on the shuttle and an operation for pulling off the bobbin case from the shuttle while raising a the lock claw of the bobbin case mounted on the shuttle. The bobbin thread replacement device comprises a bobbin case storage part (1) capable of storing a plurality of bobbin cases (B) on which bobbin thread (S) is wrapped around, a bobbin case feed mechanism (2) feeding out the bobbin cases (B) stored in the bobbin case storage part (1) one by one in order to the shuttle (K), and the lock claw operation mechanism (3) performing the operation for pressing the front face of the bobbin case (B) against the shuttle (K) while raising the lock claw (Ba) of the bobbin case (B) fed to the shuttle (K) by the bobbin case feed mechanism (2) to mount the shuttle (K) on the bobbin case (B) and the operation for pulling off the bobbin case (B) from the shuttle (K) while raising the lock claw (Ba) of the bobbin case (B) mounted on the shuttle (K).
