Abstract:
This novel approach makes it possible to ascertain a condition of a body. A body condition estimation system 18 comprises: a sensor module 16 that detects tilting around a prescribed axis of a shoe 10; and an estimation unit 20 that estimates the tilting condition of the body of a wearer of the shoe 10 on the basis of the detection result from the sensor module 16. The estimation unit 20 uses a regression model to estimate, for example, the heel section pronation angle, the ankle joint dorsiflexion angle, and the knee joint flexion angle of the wearer. Such a system makes it possible to ascertain a condition of the body.
