Abstract:
Body fat level controllers containing medium−chain triglycerides which can be easily used with neither a need for dietary restriction nor a risk of any side effects, wherein 90% by mass or more of the constituting fatty acids of the medium−chain triglycerides contained therein are saturated fatty acids having 8 and 10 carbon atoms, the ratio by mass of the saturated fatty acids having 8 and 10 carbon atoms ranges from 60&sol 40 to 85&sol 15, and the ratio of the saturated fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms in the total fatty acids attached to the 2−positions of the triglycerides ranges from 60 to 85% by mass&semi and foods for controlling body fat level which contain the above body fat level controllers.
