Abstract:
A body fat measurement device (1A) comprises: a plurality of electrodes (HR, HL, BU1 to BU4, BL1 to BL4, FR, FL); a torso width detection unit for measuring the horizontal width of the torso and the vertical width of the torso; a body impedance measurement unit that measures body impedance using these plurality of electrodes; and a body fat calculation unit that calculates the amount of body fat on the basis of the measured body impedance and the horizontal width of the torso and the vertical width of the torso. A frame-shaped wearable unit (100A) that can be positioned so as to surround the torso of a subject, and to which the torso width detection unit is provided, is detachably provided to a pedestal unit (200A) to which foot electrodes (FR, FL) are provided, and in a storage state is stored in the pedestal unit (200A).
