Abstract:
Provided is a body frame for a two-wheeled motor vehicle, the body frame comprising: a head pipe; a down frame extending from the head pipe in a downwardly sloped manner; and a left and right pair of lower frames which are formed in a hollow shape by joining press-formed metallic plate materials, are connected to the left and right sides of the lower part of the down frame, and extend rearward. Link support sections (47) in which openings (48) open rearward and downward are formed are formed integrally at the rear ends of the lower frames (19). Ends (51) of a suspension link (25) connected to a unit swing-type power unit are inserted in the openings (48) and are supported by the link support sections (47) so that the ends (51) can pivot. As a result of this configuration, the unit swing-type power unit can be supported while an increase in weight and man-hours is avoided.
