Title:
BODY MOTION DETECTION DEVICE HAVING LESS NUMBER OF SWITCHES NECESSARY FOR SETTING OPERATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/062627
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A pedometer (100) has in it a sensor unit including a sensor for detecting body
motion of a person by detecting the acceleration of vertical displacement of
a pedometer body portion (110). The pedometer (100) compares the detected acceleration
and a threshold and determines that the pedometer (100) is shaken upward when
the threshold is exceeded. A set value is presented according to the number of
shakes. The construction allows different settings of the pedometer.
