Abstract:
Provided is a lightweight body-mounted cooling device that does not require water supply and is capable of long-term cooling. The cooling device includes a plurality of Peltier modules having different specifications. The endothermic parts of the modules are brought into direct or indirect contact with the body by means of a mounting belt. Each Peltier module is equipped with a cooling unit that dissipates heat. The Peltier modules are turned ON sequentially. The body is cooled by turning ON the Peltier modules. The ON time of each Peltier module is set on the basis of the time necessary for the Joule's heat generated in the module while ON to be dissipated by the cooling unit. The cooling effect of each module is maintained.
