Abstract:
[Problem] To detect body movement in a radiographic image, with high precision, regardless of the imaging conditions and the subject. [Solution] A contrast computation unit (24) detects contrast in a high-frequency component of a converted radiographic image (G0) and contrast in a low-frequency component of said radiographic image (G0) by detecting contrast in the gradient directions of edge portions in analysis regions centered on a plurality of analysis points set by an analysis-point setting unit (23). For each gradient direction, a ratio computation unit (25) computes the ratio between the contrast in the high-frequency component and the contrast in the low-frequency component. A determination unit (26) uses the smallest ratios as indices that represent body movement and uses the result of a statistical process performed on the indices for the plurality of analysis points to determine whether or not body movement was present when the radiographic image (G0) was taken. A display control unit (27) displays the result of that determination on a display unit (40).
