Abstract:
The freedom of modes of use is improved and measurement accuracy is improved. An attachment guide (31) is provided that allows a belt mounting body (2) and a clip mounting body (4) to be attached and detached to and from a momentum gauge body (3), which is equipped with an accelerometer (12) that detects acceleration and an arithmetic unit (14) executes body movement arithmetic processing (steps S21-S26, S31-S36, S41-S43) to calculate the movement of a living body based on acceleration data, wherein the aforementioned arithmetic unit (14) is constituted to execute attachment/detachment detection processing (steps S2, S3, S9, S10) to detect attachment and detachment from changes in acceleration manifested in the aforementioned acceleration data when the aforementioned belt mounting body (2) or clip mounting body (4) is attached or detached to or from the aforementioned attachment guide (31), and to execute the aforementioned body movement arithmetic processing after switching the same to a mode that matches the status after attachment/detachment based on the detected attachment/detachment.
