Abstract:
A body supporter (1) capable of increasing hardening and holding performance by suppressing deformed parts such as hump−like parts and irregular parts from being produced at the edge parts thereof, wherein a flexible cushion body (2) is covered with a sheet−like cover body (3) impregnated with hardening resin and brought into contact with a body portion to deform the cushion body (2) in a shape matching that portion and harden the cover body (3) before use, at least the upper edge part of the cover body (3) is formed as a thin−walled edge part (7) gradually reduced in wall thickness from the cushion body (2) part, and the thin−walled part (7) is formed of a flange−shaped connection part (6) formed by bringing the cover body (3) on the side covering one surface of the cushion body (2) into contact with that on the side covering the other surface at the upper edge part of the cover body.
