Abstract:
A body-worn humidifier including a heating element that upon oxygen supply, generates heat and emits steam to thereby enable feeding of much steam to the skin within a short period of time. There is provided humidifier (1) having humidification part (11) wherein there is disposed heating element (31) comprising a heating base material containing metal powder and moisture amounting to ≥ 15% of the mass of the heating base material. The skin side of the heating element (31) is furnished with covering sheet (32) and skin-side surface sheet (4) having multiple steam permeation pores (41). The clothing side of the heating element (31) is furnished with moisture impermeable heat insulating layer (33) and air impermeable non-skin-side surface sheet (5). Steam emitted by the heating element (31) passes through the covering sheet (32) and the steam permeation pores (41) of skin-side surface sheet (4) to thereby be given to the skin. The steam permeation pores (41) have an average open pore diameter of 0.2 to 2 mm and are provided in a proportion of 0.05 to 0.3 per cm2.
