Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a boiler apparatus that suppresses corrosion of a heat exchanger in a boiler caused by the influence of water. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A boiler apparatus comprising boiler water collection means (3) for collecting boiler water present within a boiler (2) and boiler water addition means (4) for adding the collected boiler water to feed water before the feed to the boiler (2). According to this constitution, boiler water enriched with silica as an alkaline and corrosion inhibitory component is collected by the boiler water collection means (3) from the boiler (2) during burning operation. The collected boiler water is added to feed water stored within a feed water tank (15) by the boiler water addition means (4) to regulate this feed water to such a quality that can inhibit corrosion caused in a part of connection between a lower header (6) and each water pipe (7) in the boiler (2).
