Abstract:
In order to efficiently operate a boiler system with a mixture of boilers having different capacities and efficiency characteristics, this boiler system (1) is equipped with: a boiler group (2) having multiple boilers (20); and a control unit (4) that controls the combustion state of the boiler group (2). Multiple operation zones are set separately corresponding to prescribed load factor ranges in the multiple boilers (20). The control unit (4) is equipped with: a first increase selection unit (451), which selects a boiler located in the operation zone of the multiple operation zones which corresponds to the lowest load factor range when the required amount of evaporation is greater than the output amount of evaporation; a first decrease selection unit (461), which selects a boiler located in the operation zone of the multiple operation zones which corresponds to the highest load factor range when the required amount of evaporation is less than the output amount of evaporation; and an output control unit (48), which increases or decreases the amount of evaporation of the selected boiler by an amount equal to the unit amount of evaporation.
