Abstract:
Disclosed is a bolometer device. The bolometer device comprises: a substrate; a sensing layer disposed on the substrate and formed of a polymorphic vanadium oxide including VO2 containing +4-valent vanadium ions and V2O5 containing +5-valent vanadium ions; and a first electrode and a second electrode disposed apart from each other on the substrate and contacting different portions of the sensing layer.
