Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bolt and nut loosening prevention device and, particularly, to a bolt and nut loosening prevention device, preventing the bolt, which couples parts, from loosening even if vibration and shock are generated from the outside or from the device itself in a state in which the parts of a strongly-vibrating engine or industrial machine and the like are fastened. The present invention includes the loosening prevention device for preventing a nut thread-fastened to a threaded shaft of the bolt from loosening when the bolt and the nut are fastened such that the nut can be thread-fastened to the threaded shaft of the bolt, wherein the loosening prevention device comprises: a covering cap, which has an accommodating chamber therein with respect to the bottom surface thereof such that the threaded shaft to which the nut is thread-fastened can be covered with the same, and which has a lower end surface placed on the upper surface of the nut; and a set screw thread-fastened to the threaded shaft from the upper surface of the covering cap so as to enable the threaded shaft and the covering cap to be integrally connected.
